The Fortescue Arms is a popular choice of overnight accommodation for contractors, engineers and technical sales people working away in the North Devon area. Encompassing Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Braunton and Barnstaple, whether it be for one or two nights or as we have had in the past for 3 or 4 weeks projects.

We are renowned for its good hearty freshly prepared food & varied menus from the restaurant with an all day carvery every Sunday all year and every night in high season

In the bar area we offer T.V. & (BT) football coverage along with a separate pool and dart room.

The B & B accommodation is clean, comfortable and outstanding value with a choice to share family rooms or for single occupancy in twin and double accommodation, all with freeview T.Vs. coffee & tea making facilities, together with en-suite showers or baths.

We offer flexible breakfast times for customers who have to get on site early offering tea or coffee, orange juice, selection of cereals, toast and up to a full breakfast.

We can also offer a takeaway option if it is too early for a Full English of baguettes with a selection of fillings to be eaten at your leisure.
